Job application

How do I apply for a job?

All available positions with Roy Hill are posted on the Job Vacancies page. Applications can be made in response to advertised positions by clicking on the relevant job listing and following the online application process. Once you have submitted your application you will receive an automated response confirming that we have received your submission.

What happens after I submit my application?

Once you have submitted your application it will be reviewed by one of our recruitment team members. Once your application has been assessed we will be in contact with you to let you know if you will be progressing to the next stage. If you are selected to progress to the next stage, we will confirm what the next steps will be.

Can I submit my resume/CV via email or post instead of applying online?

All resumes and CVs must be submitted via our online application tool. No resumes or CVs will be accepted via email, post, in person or any other method other than our online application tool.

Who do I contact if I am having difficulty in submitting my application?

I do not see a position that I am interested in, what should I do?

If I am selected for an interview, what can I expect?

At Roy Hill, we use behavioural-based interviews, values testing and assessment centres to select the real people that will align to our values of Lead, Care, Think and Perform. Assessment centres involve a half-day of interviews and practical assessments that might include games and construction challenges. The most important thing to remember is that we want to see the ‘real’ you by observing your natural behaviour, strengths and weaknesses – not whether your team wins or loses at the game.

What development opportunities are there?

Our Career Enrichment Program is a fantastic opportunity for A and B band employees (i.e. administrators, accounts, assistants, operators, coordinators, personal assistants, technicians, coordinators, maintainers, officers and trainer assessors) to drive their development. Do I need to have mining experience to work for Roy Hill?

At Roy Hill, we want people from all “walks of life”. For many of our roles, we don’t expect you to have mining experience.
